Custom fabric panels for Yacht
Todhunter Earl Interiors commissioned two custom embroidered fabric wall panels from us through Saffron Interior Arts for a special yacht project. The motifs are hand-embroidered on the client's fabric, and the layout and colors were customized to fit the dimensions and look of the yacht. This yacht has already won four awards for interior design.
Indochine
Indochine is one of Judy Ross' favorite restaurants in New York City. Working with the owners, she chose designs and colors to work with the iconic Indochine decor.
The banquettes were upholstered in hand-embroidered fabric using the Fauna design. For the sofa, Judy Ross used her Vines design, and the seats were done in her Seed design. The embroidery is long lasting and stands up to commercial settings.
Custom Banquette
For a loft in Chelsea, Judy Ross Textiles designed and produced an upholstered banquette and pillows for architect Tom Sansone. Judy used the Spray design for this project.
Allover Rayon Pillows for Eve Robinson
Judy Ross Textiles' allover rayon embroidery is done with very fine hand-stitching that creates a softer and more luxurious surface than the wool pillows. We only use this technique for custom orders.
These 3 pillows were designed to match the color scheme of a living room for a client of designer Eve Robinson.
Pillows and Bedcover for Shamir Shah
For the New York apartment that designer Shamir Shah shares with artist Malcolm Hill, Judy Ross Textiles embroidered custom-colored pillows in the Procession pattern and a Calendar bed cover.
Children's Scarves for Lycee Francais
Judy Ross created these gorgeous scarves with her son Henri's 2nd grade class at the Lycee Francais in New York. The class had been studying the work of Picasso, and the children were asked to draw their own interpretation of Picasso's style. All of their drawings were sent to Judy's artisans in Kashmir and the children's line drawings were embroidered onto charcoal grey scarves.
The class came to Judy's studio to see a designer in action. They not only learned about the traditions and crafts of India, but they each received a beautiful scarf with their design to treasure forever. Judy Ross also presented the teacher with a scarf featuring drawings from all of the children.
India Mahdavi Dot Stools
Judy Ross Textiles collaborates frequently with India Mahdavi to design custom linen fabric to use on India's Dot Stools. These capsule collections are sold exclusively through India Mahdavi's store in Paris on Rue Las Cases. The stools shown here are Judy's Procession and Fauna designs.
