Barneys Swing Shop
For the month of June 2008, Judy Ross teamed up with Barneys for a pop-up shop called "Swing Shop." Judy Ross Textiles showed a line of folding screens, artwork panels, upholstered cubes and brightly colored floor pillows. Judy also collaborated with Artek and introduced a limited edition collection of the iconic Alvar Aalto stool upholstered in Judy Ross Textiles' hand embroidered chain stitch designs.
Roman Shades
The owner of an Upper East Side townhouse in New York commissioned 5 floors of Roman shades embroidered by Judy Ross Textiles. Each floor featured a different design from her collection. Shown here are shades in the Necklace design.
Custom Rayon Pillow
For an artist's apartment in Essex House on New York's Central Park South, Judy Ross Textiles took a cherry blossom wall covering as the inspiration for a bed pillow entirely chain-stitched in rayon.
Custom Pillows and Upholstery
For a Chelsea New York loft by Amy Lau Design, Judy Ross created embroidered bed pillows that were inspired by the mosaic infill in a headboard. Custom Judy Ross Textiles' chain-stitch wool upholstery was used for a coordinating armchair.
